This monograph gives an insight into a variety of patterns and self-organized structures, characteristic of given laser power density, thus representing an atlas of structures. In this respect, it can serve as a guideline for pattern recognition, systematization and analytical elaboration, and as a reference for independent study. It represents up-to-date information and an overview of the surface self-organization and emphasizes both the experimental and theoretical aspcts of self-organization processes as the area of current topic interest.
