Evaluation of comfort parameter properties of leightweft knitted fabrics

For the same environment conditions and a level of activities, human perception of wear comfort of any kind of clothing, is determined by a kind of fabrics the clothing is made from. The human being commonly wears fine knitted or woven fabrics next to the skin. The determinants of the structure and properties of fabrics are generally type of knitted fabrics (plain, rib, interlock, purl, etc.), type of woven fabrics (plain, twill, satin etc.), kind of yarn (spun, filament, composite), the technique of spinning (ring, rotor, air-jet), technical parameters of yarn (count, level of twisting) as well as chemical structure of fibers (mono component or blend). In this paper an overview and general consideration of thermal and water vapor parameters of lightweight knitted fabrics are given.
