Development of resilience curriculum for early years

The need for a resilience curriculum in early years education is trying to be addressed through the cooperation of educational professionals from six European countries: Malta, Croatia, Portugal, Greece, Italy and Sweden. The objective of the curriculum is to help children to address both situational and developmental challenges they face at particular stages in early education years. Basic curriculum principals will be: developmental, step by step approach, making use of experiential, participative learning, multilevel, inclusive/diversity minded, child centered, meaningful and relevant to real life, user friendly, built on evidence based practice, addressing European identity and diversity.
