Radionica "Igra definiranja!

This workshop is made for work with children and young people in different programs of Association “Petit Philosophy”. But it’s functional for all group age. “Game of defining” is very simple, logical workshop. First participant choose the concept. Then participants must find other concepts that are closely linked with the concept that we try to define. After participants find 10-12 linked concepts, then we start discussion about every concept and his connection with ‘main concept’. In the discussion participant must decide which of these concepts is essential for 'main concept' and which is not. When the discussion about connected concepts finish, the second part of the workshop starts. In this part, participant try to define ‘main concept’ with concepts that are strongly connect with ‘main concept’, with concepts that are not rejected in the first part of the workshop. In this clarification, usually participants reject one or more, in first part confirmed, concept and bring out some new concepts. Then we try to establish definition of ‘main concept’ which should be clear, logically structured and meaningful. The definition is created when more than half of the participants agree with a given definition.
