Local and Regional Government Reform in Croatia: Subsidiarity and Innovation in an Era of Austerity

Author examines the status of Croatian local and regional government and its changes since 1990. Also possible changes and recommendations have been examined. All those possible reforms are to be made in the era of fiscal austerity and economical crisis in Europe which have played important role in structuring European models of local government.
