Prediction of glaucomatous optic nerve damage in ocular hypertension with optical coherence tomography
Purposeof the study was to asses whwther retinal nerve fiber layer thickness value obatined with optical coherence tomography in ocular hypertension predicts galucomatous changes in visual field over a 2-year period. Results: in ocular hypertension gropu 16% eyes developed visual field abnormalities in 2-year period. Thinner ocular cohorence tomography obtained inferior retinal nerve fiber layer in ocular hypertension eyes is associated with future development of perimetric glaucma changes.
