Adenosine and nitroprusside given during rewarming improve coronary flow after 22 hours of hypothermic cardiac perfusion with 2, 3 butanedione monoxime
Results of this study indicate that adenosine plus nitroprusside, given during the initial rewarming period with 2, 3 butaneoide monoxime, better preserved coronary flow than BDM given alone. This increase in CF markedly improved contractile function since %O2E was at a maximunm.
