Case Study of Lean Management implementation in beverage industry
Today, tremendous market changes and galloping competition are forcing enterprises to continuously improve its business and make their production process more efficient. Lean management, i.e. Lean production is a production principle that analyzes and eliminates waste of any resource or process. Lean principle starts from the perspective of the customer who consumes a product or service. And the customer is only willing to pay value-adding processes. All other processes are cost for enterprise. Generally, Lean management is a generic process management philosophy derived mostly from the Toyota Production System. This paper presents the results of case study of Lean Management implementation in beverage industry in Croatia, and it describes the main problems of implementation.
