Heat and water vapour resistance of material used for designing thermo adaptive intelligent clothing

The paper presents the thermal and resistance of the material used in the designing of thetmal insulation chamber for intelligent clothing with adaptive thermal insulation properties, which was developed at the Institute of Clothing technology textile technology, University of Zagreb. To achieve additional water vapour permeability through thermoinsulating chamber made of polyurethane foil mesh material was embedded using high-tech methods of ultrasonic welding. Tests were performed on a hot plate.
