Risk factors and alpha fetoprotein in diagnostics of hepatocelular carcinoma
In eight year period the 525 liver cirrhosis undergone autopsies, and 40 patients with hepatocelular cardinoma was diagnosed. In 40 patients with hepatocelular carcinoma, HBsAg was obtained in 11(27, 5%) patients, and antiHBc in 36% of patients. Alfafetoptorein eas positive in 75% of patients with liver tumor. From all data, it could be concluded that poersistant infection of B virus hepatitis could be signoficant i hepatocelular carcinoma ethiology, but liver cirrhosis and male sex, as risk factors, should be considered too.
