Increased multidrug transporter Pgp activity in patients with Heliucobacter pylori infection

The group of 28 patients with antral gastritis and Helicobacter infectionm were tested on eflux test (rhodamin) in gastric biopsy specienmens. There were signifficantly higher levels of multidrug trasnporter activity Pgp in the group of patents who needed multiple eradication thereapies, then in the group of patients who were sucesfully treated on the first medication and in the control group (parients without gastritis and Helicobacter pylori infection).
