Sažetak
The research in the area of development of lightweight, skin-friendly, non-corrosive, environmentally safe, self-decontaminating ; durable and less bulky protective materials which reduce physiological burden and provide improved protection and safety resulted in three layered fabric composite - nonwoven carbon fabric layer is sandwiched between two skin friendly nonwoven rayon fabric layers. In this paper the adsorption capabilities, flame retardancy and the acoustic properties of such nonwoven composite were researched. Considering the sound absorption properties it could be used as a material for ear personal protective equipment. Considering the flame retardancy and sound protection it can be used as insulation for building as well.
