Friction Compensation Based on Reset-Integrator Friction Model

This paper focuses on friction compensation based on simple dynamical ‘reset-integrator’ friction model. Due to its simplicity, it is numerically efficient and therefore desirable for implementation in control algorithms. Main topic of this paper is the proposed method for identification of friction model parameters. The proposed method is experimentally verified on a laboratory servosystem.
