The case of the urinary ascites in emergency service-case report
We reported a case of 55-year old patient who was directed to the Department of internal medicine, emergency service by the urologist after the ascites findings on the ultrasonography exam of the abdomen. Patient noticed swelling of the belly the day before and became anuric. The difficulties anticipated after trauma of the left lumbal side of the belly and the left hip. In spite the increased values of the AST, ALT, LDH and macrocytosis in red blood count, the clinical status and ultrasonography exam did not indicate progressive liver disease or malignancy. Therefore, because of the trauma we expected that it might be the case of the urinary ascites and the rupture of the urinary bladder which was established by the MSCT exam. The intention of this case report is to present the rare but possible case of urinary ascites.
