Relation of the Yugoslav communist regime towards sports societies on the example of football clubs
At the beginning, the specific characteristics of the variation of the Yugoslav communist totalitarianism is presented. The special attention is given to the totalitarian regime compared to the sport as a specific social activity. Accordingly, further analysis is the relationship between this regime and the sports societies. In this case, the light is given on the impact of the regime on football clubs. The largest part of the paper covers the first few years after the establishment of the new regime in 1945, since they occurred at that time the largest and most radical changes in sports societies, including football clubs, starting with the abolition of the clubs, through changes in their names and complete management, to the modest form of regime activities, which were only at club management, or its major part. These variations in relations depended on several factors, which are clearly posted.
