Effect of beneficial microorganism technology and genotype interaction on soybean seed quality
The aim of this three-year preliminary research was to observe the differences in tested soybean genotypes' responses to seed inoculation with Bradyrhizobium japonicum by measuring the soybean seed protein content. Analyses of variance showed existing variability in phenotypic expression of mentioned trait for genotypes in maturity groups 00, 0 and I. In all three separately tested maturity groups, results also indicated positive effect of the rhizobial inoculation accentuating its importance for soybean protein yield. Obtained preliminary results will be useful for planning more detailed field trails in future and defining parental components for further genetic improvement of soybean cultivars.
