Constraints on temperature regulation in two sympatric Podarcis lizards during autumn

We studied the impact of restrictions by the thermal environments on body temperatures and microhabitat use of the lacertid lizards Podarcis melisellensis and P. muralis in a Mediterranean area (Croatia) during autumn. Results indicate that lizards were activeley thermoregulating. They appeared to accept lower body temperature during activity in autumn than in summer.
