Thermoelastic analysis of foundation by complex variable method

A centrically loaded concrete strip foundation exposed to thermal action is studied in the paper. It is assumed that the pressure distribution in the contact zone between foundations and the soil is regulated according to the law of square parabola. The analysis of the stress and displacement in the concrete strip foundation was conducted using the method of complex variable. For a given load and a stationary temperature range, complex potentials were defined from boundary conditions using the least-squares method. The field od displacement and stress in the strip foundation was obtained from complex potentials.
