Planar inductor design report
This report presents the design of a PCB planar inductor used in a buck converter. The properties of the inductor design are investigated w.r.t. the layout parameters using electromagnetic simulations and modelled using a two-port pi- model. The modelling results are analysed w.r.t. the requirements of the buck converter.
