TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION IN A BIG CITY

Driving through temporary traffic regulation is one of the most dangerous situations in traffic, which requires driver’s full attention. Whenever serviceable traffic area is used for some kind of works or for organising other events such as cultural and sport manifestations, this necessarily results in a number of negative impacts. These can be reflected in the lower throughput capacity of the road network in a wide area in question, reduction in the traffic safety, longer travelling times, etc. This study shows the solutions that have efficiently regulated traffic, minimised losses in time, and offered higih level of safety for the traffic participants and constructions workers.
