The Early Croatian Boats from Nin

A brief survey is given of work on the early Croatian boats from Nin, from their discovery to their reconstruction, all of which was performed entirely by the staff of the Archaeological Museum in Zadar. Radiocarbon (C14) analysis of the boats has given a date near the end of the 11th century. The boats will be exhibited after the war in Croatia is over in a specially constructed part of the Archaeological Collection at Nin.
