Migraine as a risk factor for cranial artery dissection
Cervical artery dissection (CAD) is at the most common single etiology of stroke in young adults. There is an association between migraine and stroke. Several small to medium sized studies indicated a link between CAD nad migraine. The aim of this study was to asses the incidence of migraine and ozher risk factors in consecutive patients with CAD. The incidence of migraine was higher in patients with CAD than in the general population.
