Comparability of Measurement Results

The paper presents certain considerations regarding the comparability of the measurement results obtained by comparison measurements carried out at two or more laboratories. If the experession for calculating the factor of conformance En according to recommendation EA-2/03, EA Interlaboratory Comparison, is applied without limitations, the obtained results can provide to a great extent a wrong indication of results compatibility. The curiosity of all the participants in comparison measurements consists in determining whether or not the actual compatibility of results has been achieved, which is mostly seen in the graphic presentation, whereas usually hidden by numerical indicators.
