Excitation of nuclear levels in atomic transitions

Our model of two indistinguishable quantum oscillators (IQO) has been tested for several higher order processes in atomic transitions. These processes are: (i) nuclear excitation in an electron transition, (ii) radiationless transitions in muonic atoms, (iii) nuclear excitation in positron-electron annihilation, and (iv) inelastic photoelectric effect. Predictions of the IQO model are compared with the available experimental data.
