THE IMPACT OF NATIONAL CULTURE ON THE HOTEL ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE
The national culture is a system of values shared by one national group, while the corporate culture is a system of values shared by the employees in a company. Both cultures influence the style of management and communication with employees. The national culture influences the corporate culture and vice versa. Strong corporate culture can suppress the national culture through the system of standardization of business operations. The characteristics of organizational cultures and the contribution of organizational culture to the recognizability of Croatian hotels will be identified. Organizational culture makes an important basis for the successful operation of every hotel. 29
