Interdisciplinarity and multiple intelligences in English language teaching
This thesis explains interdisciplinarity and multiple intelligences by defining them theoretically, in primary education, and in English language teaching, through contemporary approaches and methods in education. Also, the distinction is made between the traditional view of intelligence and the theory of Multiple Intelligences. The interdisciplinary approach is also described in education in Croatia. There is a brief insight into the history of English language teaching in Croatia as well. Finally, several examples of activities based on interdisciplinary or integrated topics and the development of various types of intelligences are given.
