Influence of control ring on yarn balloon force in ring spinning
Two components of the force in the XZ plane, at the yarn guide of ring spinning machine are measured using strain gauge sensors and a computer. The component in the direction of the axis Y is neglected. The angle of the balloon towards the vertical plane at the yarn guide is determined using the optical system developed. Analysing the forces which act at the yarn guide, on presumption that air drag at the balloon, gravity and Coriolis acceleration were rather low and can be neglected, the force in the balloon at the yarn guide is determined. There is a significant influence of control ring on the force in the balloon at the yarn guide, for spindle revolution of 8395 r/min, traveller mass of 0.896 g, and with control ring diameter of 57 mm.
