The Dynamic Method For the Liquid's Thermal Conductivity Determination
A new measuring method of liquid thermal conductivity measurement employing dynamical method has been described. The basic idea is as followed: a thermal impulse stimulus of very small energy less than 0,1 Ws is applied in an examined liquid with very small volume, less than 1 ml. The developed heat is being transferred through a sample by conducting. The sample creates a process space placed in a shell of testing cell with constant temperature maintained. Thus, a short-term impulse transient change of sample thermal accumulation has been caused. A mathematical model of process has been determined and interpreted in the state space. An adaptable parameter in the model is the thermal conductivity of the liquid, lambda. This way the task to determine thermal conductivity has been deduced to a task of lambda parameter estimation value of the process model.
