Environmental impact modeling in concept development

Practicing Eco-Design is recommended as early as possible in product development process, since early phases of product development are where fundamental product features are set. The objective of the proposed research is establishing ways to incorporate environmental considerations in conceptual design development stage, so so the opportunities and potential for reducing product environmental impact could be exercised before the decisions regarding product realisation process are made upon. Current research aim includes development and validation of method for environmental impact estimation and modeling.
