Wiener Filtering for Anechoic Transfer Function Measurement in Acoustics
Measurement of the anechoic transfer function of electroacoustic systems, such as loudspeakers and ultrasound hydrophone probes, is a very important issue. The usual frequencydomain solutions for measurement of direct and early sound anechoic spectra in a normally reverberant environment are Heyser’s time-delay spectrometry, and time-gating frequency analysis. This paper proposes aWiener-Hopf solution for time-gating in anechoic transfer-function measurement, which allows for non-uniform frequency-domain sampling.
