Factors that influence effective communication process and the Theory of optimal communication areas

There are the different types of communication and its` purpose: interpersonal, intrapersonal, small group, public and intercultural. Unified communication solutions offer value in three functional areas: personal productivity, workgroup performance and enterprise effectiveness. Some prescriptions for communicating effectively in conflict situations were given. The Theory of Optimal Communication Areas (TOCA) is a global communication theory, based on five main axioms. Systematic improvement of the communication process could be done at the level of interactions of individuals, groups, but also at the level of communities. According to TOCA, some basic types of communication conflicts are defined, as well as different pertaining types of potential problem solving or diminishing. Anyway, potential value of TOCA could be at first in fact that it describes communication process in a new way. It also tries artificially to simplify communication process, reducing “murmur” in specific communications, and reducing conflicts beforehand.
