Sažetak
This paper represents the recording and the 2D analysis of the stroke kinematics in the sagittal plane done on the sample of 20 rowers. In the procedure a video method was combined with the markers placed on eight crucial points, while the kinematic data acquisition and processing was done on a computer. By means of a human body link segment model, the associated line and the angle parameters of particular segments were calculated from the marker positions. The central part of the paper refers to the recording of a representative sample (an elite rower), whose kinematics were used as a reference for the comparison to the kinematics of the other rowers. According to the results of this comparison, improvements of training and correction method for the rowing technique were suggested, both for new and for elite rowers.
