Sažetak
This paper develops a procedure for optimizing the geometric shape of a seat based on ergonomic criteria, in particular comfort. This important aspect encompasses the impact of several physical phenomena and deals with the interaction between the body and technical objects that deliver certain functionalities. It is becoming increasingly important as it has strong consequences in the areas of design, operational effort, safety, etc, for each of which there is tangible financial aftermath.
