RNA SEQUENCING ANALYSIS OF HUMAN LIVER SINUSOIDAL ENDOTHELIAL CELLS REVEALS EVIDENCE FOR AN ANTI-INFLAMMATORY ROLE DURING HCV INFECTION
This is the first comprehensive gene expression analysis of LSECs that provided insight into the broad portrait of genomic changes associated with the LSECs response to HCV and evidence that LSECs downregulate inflammation during HCV infection. Defining the mechanisms of HCV-LSEC interactions will facilitate the understanding of HCV induced liver disease and the role of LSECs in other inflammatory liver diseases.
