Efficacy of 5-fluorouracil, interferon, and albothyl in the treatment of hrHPV-related or unrelated cervical intraepithelial neoplasia

45 patients diagnosed with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) in the presence/ absence of high risk human papilloma virus (hrHPV) and bacterial/yeast infections were divided into three subgroups and treated with albothyl, 5-fl uorouracil or interferon. Following the therapy in the 22.2% of the patients total clearance and in 48.9% of them lower grade lesions were observed. Clearance of hrHPV was found in 93.3 % of the patients. Signifi cant difference among types of therapy was not observed.
