Sažetak
The effect of initial rapid mixing on colour removal from dye industry wastewaters by flocculation has been investigated. The optimum pH and concentration range of the flocculant has been found as well as the optimal rapid mix velocity gradient and time for two representative monochlortriazine dyes. The characteristics of the impeller-container system used were given.
