Method of purification human genomic DNA from whole blood
The objective of this research was the isolation of for restriction appropriate DNA i.e. enough pure and intact DNA from the whole blood samples that is suitable for analysis by Southern blot i.e. analysis of restrictdion fragments. Quality assesment of isolated DNA was done by restriction endonucleases Hind III, Bam HI and Eco RI. Restriction fragments were separated by agarose gelelectrophoresis (1%) in TRIS-acetat buffer (pH 8.3). The results showed that the proposed method enables isolation of intact DNA which can be stored at -20°C during 6 months.
