Viruses as self-assembled nanoparticles

I will present a physical approach to assembly [1, 5, 7, 9], structure [2, 3, 5, 8], and elastic response [6, 10] of viruses. The interactions guiding the complexation of viral proteins with its RNA molecule [7, 9], but also generic polyelectrolytes and functionalized golden nanoparticles [4], will be elucidated.
