Sažetak
The research is dealing with routes of commerce on medieval Zagreb area focusing on the most significant one – trade road which led from Hungary to North Italy. This route was very important in medieval period for exporting ores from mines in Slovakia and cattle from Hungary to Venice and Northern Italy. Foreign merchants like Florentines or Bavarians were also trading in Zagreb and many of them became Zagreb citizens and participated in work of city councils.
