Childhood and adulthood traumatic experiences in patients with psoriatic arthritis

The etiopathogenesis of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis is not entirely acknowledged. It is assumed that the developement of psoiasis and psoriatic arthritis is influenced by interaction of genetic, enviromental and immunologic factors. Recent data suggest that childhood and adulthood stressors may play a signicicant role in the developement of an autoimmune disease. The aim of study was to explore both positive and negative life experiences in patients with psoriatic arthritis.
