Mechanisms of hematopoietic differentiation and leukaemia development
B-cell chronic lymphoctic leukaemia is the most common type of lymphoproliferative disorder in the Western world, characterized by circulating peripheral disease and involement of the bone marrow and the lymph nodes. In this work we analyzed the expression of transcription factors in hematopoietic cells of patients with lymphocytic leukaemia, represented by B cell chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) and compared to the acute leukaemia of the myeloid lineage, acute myeloid leukaemia (AML).
