Accelerated investigation of weldability by weld thermal cycle simulation
Weldability investigation by weld thermal cycle simulation is very suitable method which can accelerate and reduce costs of weldability investigations. [1, 2] It is possible to obtain very quick and relevant data regarding to weldability of new materials as well as influence of post weld heat treatment on weld joint properties. In this paper authors will present weld thermal cycle simulator Smitweld CTS 1405 and his application in weldability investigation.
