Comparison of LabVIEW Model with Measured Microwave Link Parameters
In this paper, we created simulation model of digital system (microwave link) according to real-time model. In National Instrument’s Modulation Toolkit for LabVIEW model of digital system are programmed and simulated. Simulations model is based on receive signal level of the line of sight microwave link placed in Zagreb region. The link operated at 13 GHz and uses QPSK as modulation technique. The real system data are provided by the domestic telecommunication provider. Simulation of communication channel uses additive white Gaussian noise, fading with Rician fading distribution, and concatenated forward error correction code. Results of the simulation are shown through various diagrams that valorize digital communication.
