Dietary phytogens: their influence on broilers performance, carcass composition and sensory meat quality
Significantly higher body mass had chicken 25 day of the trial in the E1 and E2 group in relation to control one. Higher carcass weight had chicks from the both experimental groups but without significant differences. Significantly higher feed consumption had chicks from the E1 group. Higher (P<0.05) back share had chicks from the both experimental groups. Significantly better juiciness was determined in the both experimental groups in relation to the control one. Odour and flavour acceptability assessed higher in the drumsticks meat chicks fed with addition of dietary phytogens.
