The role of corporative dress code in touristic supply

Tourism as a business activity in Croatia is a very potential economic activity. In order to improve that potential, tourism should be improved by a variety of other economic activities, such as urbanism and architecture, construction business, agriculture, IT and industrial business etc., but also the textile and apparel industry. Namely, determining the importance and impact of corporate dress code as a marginalized and ignored segment on micro-level in supply and demand touristic business entity is not in favor for textile industry. However, textile is part of tourism supply and demand, and the experts inside tourism recognize importance of many various textiles and apparel. In order to prove the importance and impact of corporative dress code, a survey was conducted. The results of the survey are encouraging. They show that there are potentials for using corporative dress code in touristic supply and the set-up hypothesis is confirmed.
