ERGONOMIC DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF PROTECTIVE CLOTHING BASED ON DYNAMIC ANHTROPOMETRIC

The basic characteristics of protective clothing are to protect users from outside influences and dangers that appear during the performance of activities. Also, protective clothing should provide comfort during wearing and performing movements of users. Therefore already in design and construction of protective clothing should take into account the above requirements. Based on the static and dynamic anthropometry of the human body can be determined ergonomically convenient position of pockets and zipper, the length of sleeves, jackets, pants, overalls, etc. The paper presents the extreme movements of the human body which are performed in accident situations, as well as during extinguishing of fire and rescue people. Based on mentioned movement and investigation of dynamic anthropometry, ergonomic design of protective clothing for firefighters is established. Also, ergonomically convenient position of the pockets, zipper and construction elements which allow unrestricted movement when people wearing and work are proposed. According to established ergonomically favorable position, the basic construction of model of protective clothing, modeling and adaptation of this basic pattern is made.
