New Methodological Approaches in Urban Researches
Contemporary discussions of (post) modernization of urban areas and cities, about (re) conceptualization of the public and others issues, have imposed the need for consideration of new approaches which would allow for fruitful study of most urban categories (area, city, planning, etc.). This paper is aimed to point out the failure to use available methods and procedures, which should be effectively planned and conducted urban researches. The authors, therefore, will discuss and describe the more original methodological approaches within which the urban studies adequately affect the overall social development. They elaborate series of methodological redefinition of research concepts and dimensions such as for example the research style, some procedural forms (observation discourses, life contexts), criticism of researchers (openness, methodological literacy), etc. Thus, it describes the area of urban studies and their methodological category apparatus. Finally, it explains the scientific contribution of such research which is possible to refine and develop the application of interdisciplinary, integrative and interactive approaches. That is the so-called mixed methodology that can significantly affect future team (socio-architectural) researhing of urbanism.
