Cerebral hemodynamic differences between migraine and tension type headache and temporomandibular disorder
Migraine headache, tension-type headache (TTH) and temporomandibular disorders (TMD) share number of clinical and patophysiological similarities. Although the patophysiology of these three types of headache is explained by neuronal mechanisms, the vascular factor in migraine development recently becomes point of interest again. The aim of this study is to compare the characteristics of cerebral arteries hemodynamics in migraine, TTH and TMD patients and control subjects.
