Recycling optimisation of the electrophotographic prints

The research results of the temperature influence of the offset cylinder in electrophotography with the liquid ElectroInk on the effectiveness of the recycling process of prints have been presented in the paper. By the temperature increase in the domain from 125 – 1450C the increase of specks area after pulping appear which then influences their elimination in the flotation process. On the other hand by the increase of temperature the increase of gamut volume of prints appears, i.e. the greater reproduction quality. In the paper the results have been discussed in relation to the principle of electrophotography with the aim of their application in the field of graphic materials development and the ecological sustainability.
