Povezivanje PLC-ova obitelji Simatic preko komunikacijske mreže Ethernet
Today's automation systems function as distributed systems because certain process computers are installed closer to facility so quality of communication needs to be insured. Efforts are made to ensure that office computers can be integrated with computers for production automation. In practice, as a solution, Ethernet is already imposed, its version called Industrial Ethernet that can unify the supervisory automation system and office computers in the field of administration and factory management, respectively. In the Process Automation Laboratory of Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Osijek, there are PLCs types Simatic as well as model of moving assembly line. The task is to enable communication between PLCs type Simatic via the communication network Ethernet, and to create a driver for controlling a moving assembly line. On the two instances of PLCs type Simatic, achieved communication via communication network Ethernet and driver is presented, as well as driver for running assembly line written in Step7 programming language, followed by conclusions regarding communication network Ethernet.
